Two Gameplay Modes

Mode 1 is where most players start. Mode 2 emerges as players form teams and contribute to shared goals.

The Transreality Distinction
Avolve is a game. Not a metaphor for a game. Not gamification layered on top of an app. Not a simulation.
The distinction matters:
- Gamification: Add points and badges to an existing product. The product is primary; the game layer is decoration.
- Simulation: Model reality inside a screen. The screen world is primary; real life is secondary.
- Transreality game: Real life is the playing field. The digital system tracks, structures, and amplifies what happens in the physical world.
When you complete a Genius cycle in Avolve, the results are real. The business you built is real. The health you improved is real. The XP reflects actual progress, not simulated progress.
What This Is Not
- Not a social media platform. Avolve does not have social media accounts because it is a product, not an entity with a voice. Joshua Seymour (the person) and Supercivilization (the organization) have voices. The product does not.
- Not a self-help app. It is a game with real mechanics, real progression, and real stakes.
- Not a crypto/Web3 project. The value is in real-world results, not tokens.
- Not a simulation or sandbox. The arena is your life. There is no "game world" separate from reality — the game world is reality, tracked and structured.
