Spectrum-Grounded Design
The seven realms of Avolve map to the visible light spectrum. This is a design heuristic informed by spectral position and general arousal research — warm colors tend toward higher arousal and active engagement, cool colors toward lower arousal and reflective states.
The mapping is a reasonable design choice, not a strict neuroscience derivation. But it produces an intuitive system: warm colors for active, individual domains and cool colors for reflective, systemic domains.
The Seven Realms
| Realm | Colors | Scale of Focus | Spectrum Position |
|---|---|---|---|
| Superpuzzle | Fuchsia/Pink | Overarching | Non-spectral wraparound (encompasses all) |
| Superhuman | Rose/Red/Orange | Individual | Warm — active, physical |
| Personal Success | Amber/Yellow | Individual | Warm-mid — clarity |
| Supersociety | Lime/Green/Emerald | Collective | Center — balance, growth |
| Business Success | Teal/Cyan | Collective | Cool-mid — strategic |
| Supergenius | Sky/Blue/Indigo | Ecosystem | Cool — depth, systems |
| Supermind | Violet/Purple | Ecosystem | Coolest visible — introspective |
Why Fuchsia/Pink Wraps Around
Fuchsia, pink, and rose are non-spectral colors — they don't exist on the electromagnetic spectrum as single wavelengths. Your brain creates them by combining red and violet signals. This makes them the perfect color for the Superpuzzle realm: they literally encompass the entire spectrum.
Scale of Focus vs. Game Territory
These are two orthogonal dimensions:
- Scale of Focus describes what the pillar addresses (individual, collective, or ecosystem enhancement)
- Game Territory describes where it lives in the app structure
| Realm | Scale of Focus | Game Territory | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Superhuman | Individual | superachievers.xyz (Game 2) | Enhancing individuals is a collective mission |
| Personal Success | Individual | superachiever.xyz (Game 1) | YOUR personal puzzle is YOUR game |
| Business Success | Collective | superachiever.xyz (Game 1) | YOUR business is part of YOUR puzzle |
| Supersociety | Collective | superachievers.xyz (Game 2) | Advancing collectives is the shared game |
Sub-Element Colors
Each three-color realm has specific assignments:
Superhuman (Rose/Red/Orange)
- Rose — Superhuman Academy (ages 0-12)
- Red — Superhuman University (ages 12-25)
- Orange — Superhuman Institute (ages 25+)
Supersociety (Lime/Green/Emerald)
- Lime — Company (Core Cooperators)
- Green — Community (Mesh Connectors)
- Emerald — Country (Node Operators)
Supergenius (Sky/Blue/Indigo)
- Sky — Ventures (Innovators)
- Blue — Enterprises (Executives)
- Indigo — Industries (Magnates)
Two-Color Realms
- Superpuzzle: Fuchsia + Pink
- Personal Success: Amber + Yellow
- Business Success: Teal + Cyan
- Supermind: Violet + Purple
Neutral Colors
| Role | Tailwind Color | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| Default | Zinc | All default UI — chrome, text, borders, backgrounds |
| Warm accent | Stone | Success, encouragement, warmth |
| Cool accent | Slate | Info, data, stats, system |
Temperature scale: Stone (warm) > Neutral > Zinc (neutral) > Gray > Slate (cool).
UI Color Strategy
- Individual journey: Slate + Violet/Purple gradient (cool = inward)
- Collective journey: Stone + Fuchsia/Pink gradient (warm = outward)
- Ecosystem: Zinc default (neutral = container)
- Domain colors appear only in domain-specific contexts — never as general UI chrome
