Three Meanings, One Word
"Supercivilization" refers to three distinct things depending on context. All three are real. None is a metaphor for the others.
| Meaning | What It Is | Example Usage |
|---|---|---|
| The Organization | The entity that publishes and maintains Avolve | "Supercivilization is a cooperative founded by Joshua Seymour" |
| The World | The game world that players inhabit; the destination being built toward | "Welcome to the Supercivilization" |
| The Ecosystem | The emergent network of individuals and collectives operating regeneratively | "The Supercivilization is emerging globally" |
1. The Organization
Schema.org types: Organization + Cooperative.
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Organization + Cooperative |
| Founded by | Joshua Seymour |
| Publishes | Avolve (the game) |
| Domain | supercivilization.xyz |
| Voice | "we" / "us" |
| Social Media | Yes — as an organization, it has a public presence |
Supercivilization currently has one founder — Joshua Seymour. We are honest about scale. The aspiration is to grow like Anthropic or Vercel grew from founders to communities, but we are not there yet.
The organization builds and maintains the game. You do not need to work for the organization to play the game. The game is open. The organization is the vehicle.
The Supercivilization App
The supercivilization.xyz website is the public-facing content hub. It publishes across seven categories, each mapping to one of the seven pillars:
| Category | Pillar Mapping |
|---|---|
| News | Current awareness — what is happening |
| Education | Knowledge and learning |
| Lifestyle | Health, energy, daily practice |
| Social | Relationships, community, connection |
| Business | Enterprise, value creation, front-stage |
| Finance | Wealth, investment, bottom-line |
| Productivity | Systems, tools, efficiency |
Public / Private / Secret
The organization operates on three visibility layers:
| Layer | What Lives Here |
|---|---|
| Public | Published content, the open game, visible progress, documentation |
| Private | Member-only features, internal tools, premium tiers |
| Secret | Inner workings, proprietary systems (Quartex, Sacred Cycles), organizational strategy |
This is not unusual — every organization has public, private, and internal layers. We name ours explicitly so the boundaries are clear.
2. The World
"Welcome to the Supercivilization" means: welcome to the game world.
The Supercivilization as a world is the destination being built toward — a regenerative civilization where wealth, health, and peace are the baseline rather than the exception. It is the context in which gameplay happens.
This is the positive-sum thesis. The anticivilization is degenerative — zero-sum, extractive, survival-driven. The Supercivilization is regenerative — positive-sum, creative, flourishing-driven. The game's mission is to shift the balance.
When a player enters Avolve, they enter the Supercivilization. Not a fictional universe — the real world, seen through the lens of what it could become and structured by mechanics that make progress trackable.
3. The Ecosystem
The Supercivilization as an ecosystem is the emergent network of all individuals (Superachievers) and collectives (Superachievers teams) operating regeneratively.
This is the critical distinction: the ecosystem exists regardless of the organization's work. People are already building regenerative businesses, improving their health, strengthening communities, and creating positive-sum outcomes. They are already Superachievers by the definition — super entrepreneurs paired with super technology.
The organization accelerates that emergence. The game makes it visible, structured, and connected. But the phenomenon is real whether or not someone plays Avolve.
| Component | Description |
|---|---|
| Individuals | Superachievers — people running the Genius process with modern tools |
| Collectives | Superachievers teams — groups with shared regenerative goals |
| Network | The connections between individuals and collectives, creating compounding returns |
Relationship to Other Entities
| Entity | Relationship |
|---|---|
| Joshua Seymour | Founded the organization, created the product |
| Avolve | The product that the organization publishes |
| Superachiever | What an individual becomes through the game |
| Superachievers | What a collective becomes through shared gameplay |
What This Is Not
- Not a government or political movement. Supercivilization is a cooperative that publishes a game. The regenerative thesis is a framework for gameplay, not a political platform.
- Not a cult or closed community. The game is open. The organization has transparency layers (public/private/secret) like any organization — not secrecy for its own sake.
- Not a finished thing. The organization has one founder. The ecosystem is emerging. The world is being built toward. Honesty about current scale is a feature, not a weakness.
- Not a rebrand of existing concepts. "Supercivilization" is a specific term with three specific meanings defined above. It is not a synonym for "utopia," "Web3 community," or "personal development platform."
